Well finally I’ve found a bike that I was prepared to part with the Thunderace for! My intention originally was to get a bike somewhat older than I ended up with, but I liked the colour scheme of this one so much I ended up spending far more than I’d intended on a BMW Headquarters staff bike that had only done 700 miles!

As well as a few piccies I took at the dealers before I picked up the bike, at the moment I’ve only taken a few pictures outside the garage, but will get some better ones soon I hope.

First things to go were the standard number plate and the huge exhaust (which weighs a bl**dy ton!!). The Remus exhaust sounds excellent, and that’s with the baffle in. With it out it’s a bit anti-social!! Fitted an HID dipped beam headlamp, carbon hugger and clear indicator and rear lamp lenses on the way!

Not had it long but boy does it fly! I know what they say about beemers, but all I can say is not bad for an ‘old man’s bike’!!
