Why make IT harder than it has to be?

In May 2009 Devo came back to the UK to perform their iconic first album in its entirety.

They performed at The Forum in London (formerly The Town & Country Club where the band last played on their Smooth Noodle Maps tour in 1990).

It was fantastic to see all my Spud friends again - Michael, She-vo, Paul, Jon, Rhiannan, Kev, Alain, Nicola, Paul, Wayne, Jay, Marc, Alan, Mark and more, many of whom I’d not seen since the 2007 ‘The World Iz Devo’ European tour. The ever industrious Michael organised access for me to take photos once again.

        

The gig was filmed by Jay Spencer’s ‘Shooting Incident’ company in HD and I can’t wait for the Blu Ray DVD release.

Guys it was great to see you all again, I just wish I’d been able to get to ATP at Minehead as well as it sounds like a great time was had by those that went. However with a new bundle of joy in my life called Emily, having arrived in February I’d already been away for a four days over the previous weekend working with Rick and it wasn’t fair to be away a second weekend in a row.
