Carling Academy, Glasgow

The crowd at the Carling Academy in Glasgow were shall we say, a little bit ‘boisterous’! They were going to have a good time and no-one was going to stop them. To that end it was difficult to get down to the front to take pictures from the front of the stage so this night I decided to restrict shots from the sound / lighting desk area and upstairs which was closed off.
Rather than stay overnight and come back the next day Paul Conlon and I decided to leave after the show and I drove all through the night straight back to London! We had a couple of stops to doze for an hour or so in the car but that was it...the plans to meet up with other Spuds in Covent Garden on Monday night went right out the window and the only sights we saw were pillows & closed curtains!!!....

Why make IT harder than it has to be?
