Why make IT harder than it has to be?

At Brighton I stayed with the video camera for the whole gig so didn’t manage to take any stills pictures during the performance. (The video is a story in itself - I set everything up, got levels and everything sorted from the desk during the band’s soundcheck and was ready to go. Then as the show started, everyone stood up, blocking the view from the video camera!!! After a song or two I manged to borrow some cardboard boxes with brochures in from the venue office, and lifted the tripod onto the three of them mid song so I could see. It wasn’t exactly a stable platform and wobbled like hell, but at list it was better than the backs of peoples’ heads!!)
